    Can someone explain the mechanics of how thsi works. Is it bad stretching or strengthening workout.

    The first video was the only thing that brought my back any relief. This second video accomplishes the exact same but I really enjoy the stack poses and the mindfulness to the body more in this video. I feel like it's just as hard to do but I'm moving less and thinking more about engaging body parts, even though that was also important in the first video.

    How quickly after injury can I start this? I threw out my lower back a week ago but I can still barely bend forward to do some of these moves. I can barely get out of a chair without pushing off my knees.

    I'm very active on my farm with tractor work, mowing, etc. With severe spine degeneration and osteo arthritis, my days and nights are very painful. I'll try these after my shoulder surgery next week, even with the arm sling... The wife and I (in our mid-sixties) are also back on LOW CARB eating. Meat and veggies only! Starting to feel better already! If i would have known my body would fall apart like this, i would have bought the extended warranty for it! Haha Good thing that Jesus gives "His kids" (those who love, trust, and obey HIM) that new SPIRITUAL body one day! No more pain or suffering! Hallelujah!

    is your lower back suppose to hurt during this? also, are you suppose to tuck/lengthen your lower back when in tension or do I keep the arch the whole time?

    • @FoundationTraining
      @FoundationTraining 3 дні тому

      Do not tuck your lower back during these poses. It will hurt. Keep a long spine as instructed throughout.

    Is there any thruth in the suggestion that practicing ISOMETRIC exercises increases your Blood Pressure and is something to consider if you are in your 70's or early 80's even though you keep fit? I love this particular series of exercises. Thank you Dr Goodman and Coach Salas!

      @@FoundationTraining I had begun attempting daily calisthenics and I think it was either Australian pull-ups with knees bent, or possibly squats. I've doing physical therapy and I reached a baseline with my back pain through vertical pulls at the end of a door, wall pushups and box squats to a comfortable level. The day I reintroduced the bent knee Australian pull-ups my back flared again. Inverted rows with knees bent using equalizer bars, and vertical door handle pulls also caused back pain.

    I’m looking for a video I did around 5 years ago. It’s difficult to remember, but I think it was 4-5 minutes long. It helped my posture big time. A few stretches I remember were holding the sphere and something that might have been called spread eagle, where the arms are at a 30-45 degree angle at the side and then extended back, opening the shoulders. I know you remove videos, but I could feel a change in my posture after doing that video the very first time. I even did it in my classroom with students. I have been in grad school for 2.5 years and have redeveloped horrible posture and back pain. I would be forever grateful if I were given the link. Thank you!

    I've been dealing with lower back pain for a few years now. Went to a chrio, got X-rays done and everything, but still couldn't get to the bottom of it. My lower back muscles would lock up and it felt like it was spasming whenever I would go for runs or play ball. I started doing these exercises about couple months ago in an on and off manner, and my back pain has pretty much went away. I don't even think about my back anymore when I'm doing physical activity. I'm sure that when I get more consistent with these exercises that my back pain will be kept in check for good.! Thank you guys!

    agree with others that another angle for lunges would be helpful. as well, you say right leg steps back and left hand goes forward, yet that's not what you all do. in the beginning you say to step wide and parallel outsides of feet which makes toes go outward, but if you parallel them that is not what the toes do. they point straight and more inward a bit. if anyone reads this an updated vid would be so appreciated!
